from the Office of African American Affairs (OAAA) for
his Benefit Song "You Have Forgotten Me" and
fundraising for Homeless Veterans in America.

was one of 6 finalists for the New Mexico Music
Awards - Americana category. The New Mexico
Music Awards 21st annual Banquet and Awards
Show was held on May 18th, 2008 at the Marriott
Pyramid in Albuquerque.
April 9th 2008 - The first donation of $770 was made to
to Ken Mayers,Treasurer, Veterans for Peace
501c3, of which the funds will go to the
NM Veterans Integration Center, Albuquerque, NM.
